Copsale Hall Booklet

Copsale Hall [which started life in an interesting and unusual manner as a cricket pavilion at Dulwich] is 100 years old on its site at Copsale on 1st January 2007. The committee which takes responsibility for the hall is producing a booklet on it’s history and uses as part of the anniversary commemoration. In this connection, the committee would very much welcome any interesting and/or humorous anecdotes, which those who have used it could contribute. The names of all those individuals and/or organisations, which make such contributions, can be acknowledged in the booklet if they so desire.

Could all those who would like to make a contribution please contact me by emailing Paul

Events Planned So Far

Jumble Sale on Saturday 21st October from 2.00pm, always a very good event very interesting objects donated and sold at amazingly low prices.

AGM on Monday 6th November at 8.00pm, now we want this to be very well attended. Anyone within the parish or connected in any way with the Hall can come along and have their say about the present committee and its performance and also suggest ways to improve the Hall. Everyone who comes along has a vote and can stand if desired for election to the committee. Additionally wine and cheese will be served.

Xmas Revue held within the Hall. Written and performed by committee members (not me). Wine and Xmas light refreshments will be provided in what promises to be a very unusual evening!

Next year it will be 100 years at Copsale for the Hall and we want to celebrate this anniversary with the whole community and would appreciate any ideas to help it to be a special year.
